About the project

These grants will provide the Skate Park with much needed upgrades.

Works include:

  • drainage / skate park repairs
  • more seating
  • water bubbler
  • shade
  • exercise equipment
  • tree clearing.

Works are scheduled to commence in late 2020 and be completed in early 2021.

Project Vision

This project is a culmination of active community members and services requesting works to be done for the betterment of the young people in the space. The above works have been requested in order to draw more families to the Skate Park and to make it a better place for the young people.

Community

Extensive community participation has been a driving force. Council identified the needs for the Skate Park through conversation with community, services, and local volunteer groups. This feedback has been essential for Council’s decision making processes.
