Reclaimed Water Management Scheme - Storage Dam - Coonemia Road

Following the success of Council’s Reclaimed Water Management Scheme (REMS) Stages 1A and 1B; Council has now commenced works on the design of the final Stage (Stage 2) being a new 900ML bulk storage dam and associated infrastructure.

About the project

A stakeholder and community consultation process was undertaken on the publicly exhibited Review of Environmental Factors (REF) report and endorsement by Council in March 2022.

Site investigations, and detailed design have also recently concluded, with Council currently investigating funding opportunities to allow this project to progress to construction.
