Mayor Patricia White on leave of absence

Deputy Mayor Peter Wilkins will fill in for Mayor Patricia White while she takes a leave of absence until Friday 23 May.

Cr White had been recovering from a virus when she fell and fractured her collarbone and injured her shoulder while at home last week. The Mayor was treated in hospital but has since returned home to recuperate.

Although in good spirits, Cr White said she needed to limit the movement of her arm and therefore would be resting at home to aid her recovery over the next 10 days.

Cr Peter Wilkins will be taking on mayoral duties until Friday 23 May.
