Solar Energy is taking Centre Stage
Shoalhaven City Council is pushing ahead towards their renewable energy policy target, with the installation of 200 solar panels on the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre rooftop.  Installation began last month on the large 81-kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system being installed by an external local contractor Simmark. Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre’s Free Play Day
To celebrate the opening of the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, the Centre will be holding a ‘Free Play Day’. The state of the art $14 million facility is opening its doors for the first time on Monday 14 October 2019, to allow residents to try out the new facilities. Shoalhaven City Council is reminding residents that there are ten beach wheelchairs available free of charge at beaches across the region. The Shoalhaven is home to many pristine beaches, where everyone should have access to enjoy. West Ulladulla Sports Park Targeted
Shoalhaven City Council is saddened to report that West Ulladulla Sports Park’s AFL field has been targeted in another vandalism attack. Investigations are underway after Council was advised on 27 September 2019, that only 3 of the 8 light towers were working. A large amount of copper wiring has been stolen from the site, with tools located in the pits. Shoalhaven City Council is pleased with Shoalhaven Regional Gallery’s announcement of the finalists for NOW Contemporary Art Prize.
