Holiday Shut Down

Council's Administrative Buildings will be closed from 4pm, Tuesday 24th December and will reopen for business on Thursday 2nd of January. 

All our Recycling and Waste Depot will be closed on all public holidays, and will be operating at extended hours up until the end of January. 

The following essential services will remain operational during the ‘close down’ period:

  • Water & Sewer Services

  • Visitor Information Centres

  • Toilet Cleaning

  • Beach Patrols

  • Parks Operations – Litter/BBQ’s/Mowing – skeleton crews

  • Call Centre – Contract After Hours Service

  • Family Day Care – closed with 24hr on call

  • Street & Park Bin Collection

  • Waste Depots

  • Street Sweeper

  • Kerbside Garbage and Recycling Collection

Enquiries from the public will be received by the After Hours Call Centre on 4421 3100 in the first instance and will then be directed to the appropriate staff member.

Continue to stay up to date with the bush fire situation by checking, listening to your local radio station or by calling the NSW RFS Bush Fire Information Line on 1800 679 737.
