Shoalhaven City Council is advising residents of changes to their waste and recycling kerbside collections over the Christmas period.
Waste collections will remain on Christmas Day, however residents are being advised that collection trucks will be collecting their kerbside bins at an earlier time than usual. Residents need to place their bins on the kerb the night before to ensure their bins are emptied.
In a bid to help reduce Christmas waste, kerbside recycling will also be collected on a weekly basis from Monday, 23rd December 2019 until Friday, 31st January 2020. Following this period, the recycling schedule will return to a fortnightly collection.
