Holiday Haven Trail Blazing in Tourism
July 09, 2019
Shoalhaven City Council’s Holiday Haven Parks has been acknowledged as innovators in tourism awarded runner-up in the Trailblazer Award at the 2019 Tourism Innovators Conference on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Shoalhaven Mayor Amanda Findley said that this a great achievement for the network Council owned caravan parks that showcase the beautiful region.
This award was the highest accolade at the 2019 Tourism Innovators Conference and it is a great achievement for the Holiday Haven business to have this industry recognition,” Cr Findley said.
Since 2016 the Council managed parks changed their business structure that had been in place for three decades. This business change included upgrades to the booking software across all 12 parks, new business branding, new website and online booking process, Holiday Haven Membership program, the introduction of gift vouchers and a brand-new training program in order to upskill and educate our managers and park teams.
“The Holiday Haven team consistently provides a first-class service to visitors to our region and I congratulate them for this award acknowledging their hard work and outstanding innovation in the field."
