Shoalhaven City Council has developed a Property Strategy that sets out guiding principles for the best management and growth of Council’s property portfolio to ensure current and future community and operational needs are met.
The draft Property Strategy will be publicly exhibited for community comment from Wednesday, 25 October to Friday, 24 November 2017.
For the first time, an integrated approach has been drafted that affirms how Council should manage these properties to ensure it meets the current and future needs of the community. Council owns and/or manages more than 3,400 properties across the Shoalhaven, most of which are used for various civic, community and operational purposes.
The Property Strategy’s objective is to ensure Council's property portfolio be structured to maximise operational effectiveness, efficiency, financial performance and community benefit.
The members of the community are invited to view the draft Strategy and provide feedback via Council’s Get Involved website at www.getinvolved.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/property-strategy.
