Intrepid Landcare in partnership with Shoalhaven City Council and Shoalhaven Landcare Association is calling for young change-makers in the community aged 15 to 30 years old to step up and attend the New Ways Forward Forum on Saturday, 27 May 2017 from 9.00am to 4.00pm.
The forum will be an adventure filled day of networking, self-discovery and leadership development, and exploring what's possible for young people who want to see a better future for the local environment.
Participants will also be treated to a cultural awareness hike up to Drawing Room Rocks.
The forum is designed to bring like-minded young people together so they can network with each other and connect with key people who can support them in the community.
The forum will offer young people skills, inspiration and insights into how to create projects and turn their passions into reality while helping to shape new ways forward for Landcare, Bushcare and other environmental initiatives in the Shoalhaven region.
The New Ways Forward Forum will be facilitated by Intrepid Landcare co-founder and internationally recognised change-maker, Megan Rowlatt. Megan has been instrumental in designing and facilitating ground-breaking programs, and supporting young people around Australia to realise their potential to create the change that they want to see for themselves, the environment and their community.
Intrepid Landcare is empowering young people all over Australia to identify what's important, what's possible, and then create new ways for young people to do stuff that matters for their environment and community.
