   Shoalhaven Libraries are encouraging the local community to take advantage of some great bargains at the upcoming book sale to be held as part of Booktober celebrations. Shoalhaven City Council is encouraging local residents to join the fight against littering over the upcoming warmer months. Council’s Ranger Services, in conjunction with the EPA, have developed a sticker to be placed on the inside of the windscreen or visor prompting the driver to report littering from vehicles. Shoalhaven Libraries have welcomed the results from their recent Customer Service Survey after receiving over 800 responses to the questionnaire. The survey results will be used to drive further planning and assist in the provision of key services as outlined by the community. Shoalhaven City Council is reminding pet owners that dogs must be kept under effective control at all times when in a public place. The reminder comes as Council continues a three month trial into off leash dog areas on Narrawallee Beach. Shoalhaven City Council has engaged Hawkins Civil Constructions to undertake infrastructure development works within the Jerberra Estate, Tomerong. Shoalhaven City Council has re-elected Councillor John Wells as Deputy Mayor during this afternoon’s Ordinary Meeting.
