Shoalhaven City Council will be commencing roadworks on Jindy Andy Lane, Numbaa from Monday 2 September 2013. The works will see the rehabilitation of 600 metres of roadway pavement on a stretch of road 450 metres from Greenwell Point Road. The road will remain open to traffic under the direction of traffic controllers; however traffic delays should be expected. Shoalhaven City Council has finalised the delivery program for projects being funded by the recent special variation rate rise.The rate increase is estimated to provide Council with an additional $2.3 million, all of which has been exclusively allocated towards road renewal and path projects in 2013/14 ($1.8 million on roads and $500,000 on pathways). As part of HMAS Albatross’ 65th anniversary celebrations, HMAS Albatross and HMAS Creswell will exercise their right to the Freedom of Entry to the City of Shoalhaven on Saturday 31 August 2013.
