Shoalhaven City Council will soon be issuing notices to local pet owners in possession of a dog or cat that is older than six months of age and not lifetime registered.   It is a requirement of the NSW Companion Animals Act that all dogs and cats over six months in age be registered.   Mayor, Joanna Gash said it was also a requirement that all dogs and cats were identified with a microchip from 12 weeks of age or prior to the animal being sold or given away (...

Shoalhaven City Council will be hosting a series of Skilled or Killed Young Drivers Safety (SKYDS) programs at the University of Wollongong Shoalhaven Campus throughout July. SKYDS, developed by the Shoalhaven City Council in 2003, is a safe-driver education program delivered to local school students in grades 10-12.
