Shoalhaven City Council is reminding residents and visitors to report all dog attacks to Ranger Services, following two serious attacks on children over the weekend. A young child was transported to hospital via ambulance after sustaining significant bite injuries from an attack on private property in East Nowra, on Sunday afternoon. Shoalhaven City Council has welcomed a funding announcement by the NSW Environmental Trust that will see the Council receive $100,000 to address erosion on public land in the Heritage Estates, near Erowal Bay. Shoalhaven City Council will soon place on public exhibition the draft Bomaderry/Nowra Regional Sports and Community Precinct Master Plan, as recommended during Tuesday afternoon’s Ordinary Meeting. The Minister for Local Government has now conferred that Shoalhaven City Council elections will no longer be delayed, and will be held on 10 September 2016.
