As part of Shoalhaven City Council’s ongoing commitment to improving its roads, Council will rebuild 1.2 kilometres of Naval College Road. The major road works will start from the roundabout at The Wool Rd and extend towards Erowal Bay Road. The road works are scheduled to commence on 29 March 2016 and will take up to 6 weeks, depending on favourable weather conditions. Shoalhaven City Council today joined Athletics NSW, the Sir David Martin Foundation, Nowra Athletics Club and North Nowra Public School in launching the Greater Nowra Fun Run and Shoalhaven King of the Mountain Trail Race. 1000 fridges have now been collected by the NSW EPA Fridge Buyback, the award winning residential energy saving scheme which collects and recycles second fridges and upright freezers for free. Old fridges and freezers are some of the biggest energy users in the home, costing owners an average of $300 a year to operate. Shoalhaven City Council along with the Mollymook Outrigger Canoe Club will host the Single and Double Outrigger Canoe Marathon State Titles in Ulladulla on Saturday 12 March and the six man Outrigger Canoe Ocean Regatta on Sunday 13 March 2016.
