Shoalhaven City Council will join Mollymook Golf Club in hosting the 2015 NSW Mid-Amateur Championships from Sunday 17 May. The event will see over 150 of the State’s most talented golfers descend on the challenging and picturesque Mollymook course for the three day competition. The NSW Mid-Amateur Championships is a 54 hole stroke play competition for elite men and a 36 hole format for women aged between 30 – 54 years of age. Shoalhaven City Council is calling for information following the discovery of illegally dumped bonded asbestos within the Murramarang National Park. National Parks and Wildlife Service Rangers found the large quantity of bonded asbestos on a routine patrol south of Kiola last week. Shoalhaven City Council is currently undertaking a blitz on abandoned trolleys left across the City with fines an option for shoppers found taking trolleys and leaving them outside of the shopping centre property.
