Shoalhaven City Council is pleased to announce that next CBD Mural artwork will commence today on Bridge Road Nowra.
The murals are being funded by the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee and have been made possible with the help of the owners of the buildings involved and also Verb Syndicate.

Harmony Day is held on the 21 March and is a day that allows all Australians to celebrate our diverse multiculturalism. Harmony Day is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging residents to participate in a free fitness challenge in Ulladulla.
Ulladulla has been selected as one of five regions in rural New South Wales to compete in the Healthy Town Challenge and organisers are asking any residents interested in improving their fitness and health to sign up for the contest.

Shoalhaven City Council successfully prosecuted a Wollumboola resident with criminal charges in Nowra Court on Tuesday, 13 February 2019.
Mr Phillip Vella was issued with a Penalty Infringement Notice following his failure to comply with an order within a Pollution Prevention Notice issued by Council in February 2018 pursuant to the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.

Australia's most famous babies will be visiting the Shoalhaven in a travelling display.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging residents to visit Nowra Library before Thursday, 21st February and enjoy the exhibition.

Shoalhaven City Council is advising that the Ulladulla Civic Centre will undergo renovations from mid-February to early March to upgrade the lower level meeting rooms.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said the purpose of the renovations is to create an additional space for community groups.
“The Ulladulla Civic Centre boasts panoramic views of the Harbour and has seen a steady increase in patronage over the past four years,” Cl Findley said.

Shoalhaven City Council is proud that local beaches monitored by the Beachwatch program have again been assessed with the highest rating achievable.
The Office of Environment and Heritage released the State of the Beaches Report, 2017-2018 this month – an annual scorecard of the summertime water quality at 260 popular NSW beaches and swimming spots.
