Shoalhaven City Council is seeking the assistance of the community in providing information to Rangers about the unauthorised removal of vegetation on the Mitchell Parade Mollymook, Bawley Point, Kioloa, Lake Tabourie and Ulladulla foreshores.   Members of the community have been removing trees, branches and lopping bushes on Council land. Mollymook Surf Club awarded RID Community Champion
Mollymook Surf Club has been awarded the winner or the Shoalhaven City Council Report Illegal Dumping (RID) Community Champions program.  The announcement was made by Mayor Amanda Findley at a special presentation in the Council Chambers.  Mayor Findley congratulated each group on implementing a motivating educational campaign. Turpentine Road Upgrade Finished
The upgrade works for Turpentine Road have been finalised with the road officially opened on Thursday by Mayor Amanda Findley and Federal Member for Gilmore Ann Sudmalis MP.  Roadworks were carried out over three stages covering the 8 km of unsealed road - 4.6km from the Princes Highway finishing at Braidwood Road.   The 10 tonne load limit on Turpentine Road no longer applies and a speed limit of 80 kph is now enforced.   Council received funding for the upgrade total...

Christmas garbage and recycling kerbside collections during the festive season
Shoalhaven City Council is advising residents that garbage and recycling kerbside collections will continue as normal over the Christmas period.   While garbage collections will remain on Boxing Day, residents are advised to ensure their garbage and recycling bins are placed out the night before collection. Immunisation Clinic celebrates its services
After half a century of providing free Shoalhaven City Council’s Childhood Immunisation Clinics, the last group of children went through the clinic this week, all receiving a teddy bear to ease the pain of their jab.   The clinic started out in halls such as the old School of Arts Annexe and then went mobile in the 1990’s wandering around the villages in a painted up caravan.
