Shoalhaven City Council will be commencing upgrade works to the Browns Creek crossing on Quinns Lane, South Nowra from Monday 23 November 2015.  The project includes installation of a larger capacity drainage culvert crossing under Quinns Lane, vegetation clearing and improvements to the creek cross-section.  Once completed the works will reduce the frequency that Quinns Lane is inundated with stormwater during rain. Shoalhaven City Council will be refreshing the streetscape within the Bomaderry commercial precinct from early November. Taking place on Meroo and Bunberra Streets, the works will include the painting of lamp posts, garbage bin surrounds, seats and other street furniture. Shoalhaven City Council has thrown its support behind the Shoalhaven City Turf Club’s proposal to create a memorial for the two time Melbourne Cup winning horse, Archer. Shoalhaven City Council along with project consultants, SJB Architects will be hosting a workshop this week for local residents to have their say on the potential future of the Huskisson Foreshore Precinct.    Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash has today inspected works on the Orion Beach Shared User Path. The Orion Beach Shared User Path project forms part of the Round the Bay Walk and will build on pre-existing walking routes between Callala Bay and Hyams Beach. Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash has welcomed the 2015 Shoalhaven Community Survey results which have demonstrated an increase in the organisation’s overall satisfaction rating.
