Level 1 Water Restrictions to remain in place
Despite recent rainfall in the Shoalhaven area, Level 1 water restrictions remain in place. Some increase in flows in the Kangaroo River have allowed Shoalhaven Water to top up Bamarang dam, while conserving the back-up supply from Danjera Dam.  2850 million litres of water was released from Danjera dam prior to the recent rain, and this back up supply now sits at 59%. Flying Foxes in the Shoalhaven
Shoalhaven City Council staff have installed a large interpretative sign at the Brinawarr Street Grey-headed Flying-fox Camp Bomaderry to help inform the community of the importance of this keystone species. Last summer the number of Grey-headed Flying-foxes at the camp reached well into the thousands. New Learn to Ride Bike Path in East Nowra.
Shoalhaven City Council is celebrating the official opening of a new Learn to Ride bike path for Parramatta Park, East Nowra today. Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley was delighted with the new facility and encourages the youngest residents of the Shoalhaven to come out and enjoy the new bike path enhancement “This new Learn to Ride bike path will help toddlers, preschoolers and primary school aged children improve their early bicycle riding skills,” Clr Findley said....
