Shoalhaven City Council is set to commence road widening works on Bolong Road, Bomaderry. The $720,000 project will see the widening of road shoulders to 2.2 metres wide on both sides of the road between Hannigans Lane and Jennings Lane in an effort to improve road safety for motorists. The works are a continuation of similar projects undertaken on Bolong Road (near Shoalhaven Heads) and Gerroa Road over the past two years. Shoalhaven City Council has commenced works on Stage one of the $110,000 St Georges Basin Village Green project. Stage One works include the reshaping of existing landscaping to allow for the improved treatment and disposal of stormwater and the provision of essential pedestrian links.
