Parma Road Bridge works reach significant milestone
Shoalhaven City Council is continuing work on the replacement of Parma Road Bridge with the project progressing towards completion in September.Council engaged specialist contractors to undertake the works which began with removal of the southern lane on the existing timber bridge.A significant project milestone will be achieved in the next week with the on-site delivery of the initial concrete pre-cast bridge components.The components, which will require a 200 tonne crane to offload and lift in...

Bomaderry Town Entrance Improvement Program commences
Shoalhaven City Council has planted 90 trees along Bolong Road, Bolong as part of the organisation’s Town Entrance Improvement program.Tree planting has occurred on both sides of Bolong Road within the 60km speed zone between Hannigans Lane and the Meroo Road roundabout.As part of the program, Council has also installed a Bomaderry Village sign along the Bolong Road entrance to the township.Mayor, Joanna Gash said that by planting the trees and erecting a new town sign Council was aiming to enha...
