Shoalhaven City Council is advising residents that the Ulladulla Sea Pool remains closed as a result of the recent heavy rains and large seas.The Ulladulla Sea Pool will be reassessed by Council staff tomorrow, Friday 1 February.However, Council staff have been able to solve the issues at Huskisson Sea Pool which is now again open to the public.Council apologises for any inconvenience to pool patrons.

Shoalhaven City Council will apply for funding under the Australian Government’s Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) to assist in upgrading the City’s street lighting to energy efficient fittings. Current projections estimate Council will spend over $1.7 million on street lighting over the current year - equating to nearly 3,150 tonnes of carbon emissions. Shoalhaven City Council has begun extensive road rehabilitation works on Matron Porter Drive, Milton.The road works, which will take place on a 500m section of the road starting approximately one kilometre from the Princes Highway, are expected to be completed by mid April weather permitting.Road rehabilitation works to be carried out include pavement improvements, drainage and resealing of the pavement. Shoalhaven City Council is advising residents that the Huskisson Sea Pool and Wading Pool remain closed as a result of the recent heavy rains. Council staff are continuing cleaning operations, however these works have been prolonged due to the large amount of material which has collected in both pools. Both the Huskisson Sea Pool and Wading Pool will be reassessed tomorrow, Wednesday 30 January.
Shoalhaven City Council is advising residents that the Ulladulla Leisure Centre will be closed to the public from 12.30pm Saturday 2 February and all day Sunday 3 February.The closure is due to the hosting of a district swimming carnival.Over 150 participants and their families are expected to attend the two day event.Regular programs will still be available Saturday morning with Learn to Swim programs and gymnasium classes to run as normal.Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to pool...
