Shoalhaven Water will be undertaking maintenance works at the southern end of the Shoalhaven River Bridge from Monday 15 October.Disruptions to the local community will be minimal, with preliminary works to commence on Monday 15 October with the major work being undertaken on the night of Wednesday 17 October 2012.The works will see Shoalhaven Water staff replace a leaking expansion joint on a water trunk main which crosses the river under the western bridge.Shoalhaven Water staff will also take...

Shoalhaven City Council is closely monitoring local lake levels following the above average rain fall experienced locally over the past 24 hours.The southern Shoalhaven has received heavy rainfalls since Thursday morning with Lake Conjola receiving 60mm, Ulladulla 172mm, Burrill Lake 303mm and Lake Tabourie 149mm.While Burrill Lake is open both Lake Conjola and Lake Tabourie remain closed.Machinery is currently being transported to Lake Tabourie to assist in the preparation of a notch in the san...

Shoalhaven City Council is notifying residents of a problem at the Ulladulla Sewage Treatment Plant.Shoalhaven Water staff reported an issue with one of the rubber bellows on the decanting weir resulting in the failure of one of two aeration tanks earlier this morning. While attempting to repair the tank, the Ulladulla area received over 100 mm of rain, resulting in the one serviceable tank receiving far in excess of its design flows.
