Shoalhaven City Council recently received a $30,000 funding grant from the IMB Building Society’s Community Foundation to extend the Skilled or Killed Young Drivers Safety Drivers (SKYDS) program.SKYDS, developed by the Shoalhaven City Council in 2003, is a safe-driver education program delivered to local school students in grades 10-12. The Bomaderry Aquatic Centre outdoor heated pool is currently closed as a result of the recent strong winds.A shade structure adjoining the pool has received structural damage as a result of the wind making the entire area unsafe to patrons.The cool weather has also resulted in a severe drop in the pool temperature.The outdoor 50m pool will remain closed to the public until Monday 11 July.The Bomaderry Aquatic Centre indoor pool will remain open during this period.
