Mobile Library to receive exciting new facelift
January 15, 2013
The Shoalhaven City Council Mobile Library will be out of service for the rest of January to allow the vehicle to be repainted.
With the Mobile Library currently off the road, Shoalhaven Library staff are endeavouring to deliver a library service to any regular Mobile Library users that are currently disadvantaged.
Shoalhaven Library and Community Services Manager, Noela Lim said Nowra Library staff are currently delivering home library services to existing members in the Shoalhaven to ensure all library users can still receive their library items during this period.
“Those residents that are not a Home Library Service member but have difficulties in attending one of our static branches can register as a temporary home library member so that items can be delivered to them during this period,” said Ms Lim.
“Further to this, if other mobile library users are able to attend a branch they are welcome to take as many items as necessary and there will be no penalty for overdue items.”
“We ask that people contact the library staff with any queries regarding the mobile service and would also like to apologise for any inconvenience the refurbishment has caused.”
The new paintwork has been designed using exciting new graphics to make the Mobile Library more recognisable.
For further information on the mobile library service, local residents can contact the library on (02) 4429 3705 or visit Council’s internet site.
