Shoalhaven Libraries to host special literary event

Shoalhaven Libraries will be hosting two of Australia’s most popular authors, Ber Caroll and Dianne Blacklock, at a very special free literary event taking place at Nowra Library on Wednesday 17 August.

These two best selling writers will offer personal insights into their lives as authors and talk about the experiences that helped form their highly successful careers.

Author of the well known Call Waiting, Wife for Hire and Almost Time, Dianne Blacklock said she was looking forward to the opportunity of connecting with her readers.

“I spend months and months creating a fictional world, becoming attached to the characters, living with them in my head and then suddenly one day, they’re off to the printers and out into the big wide world,” she said.

“So when I get mail from readers talking about my characters like they know them too, it’s very heartening.”

After coming to Australia 13 years ago Ber Caroll has written several successful novels including Executive Affair, Less than Perfect, Just Business and The Better Woman.

Participants at this unique event will be offered the opportunity to ask both writers about their previous catalogue of works and future writing plans.
Signed books will be available for purchase on the night while refreshments will also be served.

Ber Caroll and Dianne Blacklock will speak about their writing careers at a very special free literary event taking place at Nowra Library from 6.30pm on Wednesday 17 August.
