Council pays tribute to 150 years of NSW Policing

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Paul Green paid tribute to the local area command today while unveiling a new banner designed to help celebrate 150 years of NSW Policing.
The banners haven been hung throughout the Nowra CBD as Council pays tribute to the hard work and dedication of the NSW Police Force.
Mayor, Paul Green congratulated the NSW Police Force on their milestone achievement saying the Council shared a tremendous working relationship with the Shoalhaven Local Area Command.
“Council works very closely with the hard working members of the Shoalhaven Local Area Command to ensure the City remains a safe and enjoyable place in which to reside,” said Clr Green.
“All members of the NSW Police Force play a vital role within the community, often putting their own lives at risk to ensure the safety of others.
“I have long been a huge advocate of the NSW Police Force and I firmly believe that our community owes a huge debt to the many ‘Blue Angels’ that make up the Shoalhaven Area Command.”
“I would like to congratulate NSW Policing on this terrific milestone achievement and take the opportunity to thank them for all the work they put into making our community such a special place to live.”
