Shoalhaven City Council is advising that the Ulladulla Civic Centre will undergo renovations from mid-February to early March to upgrade the lower level meeting rooms.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said the purpose of the renovations is to create an additional space for community groups.
“The Ulladulla Civic Centre boasts panoramic views of the Harbour and has seen a steady increase in patronage over the past four years,” Cl Findley said.
“The scheduled works will create one additional hireable spaces at the Ulladulla Civic Centre allowing the lower auditorium and lounge space to be separated.“The improvement will allow two community groups to use the lower level facility at the same time and increase the venue’s income.
"The renovations will have some impact on community groups who regularly book the lower level of the venues however council staff have already contacted those affected and are working with them to offer alternative spaces for the duration of the works.
"The upper hall space and meeting rooms of the CivicCentre are still available for hire during this time and the library service and Visitor Information Centre will continue its normal operational hours.
“We would like to thank those community groups impacted for their patience during this time and hope they enjoy the makeover.”
