Carmel Krogh, Director of Water at Shoalhaven City Council, has been recognised in the 2019 Australia Day Honours, being awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her outstanding service to civil engineering across the South Coast and NSW.
Ms Krogh has proudly served Shoalhaven Water for over eleven years and is recognised as an expert across the industry.
Ms Krogh is widely respected as a trailblazer for the Shoalhaven and the Water Industry as a whole, leading forward-thinking projects such as the Reclaimed Water Management Scheme (REMS) Scheme and Porters Creek Dam.
“Working at Shoalhaven Council is one of the highlights of my career, and I have worked with such a wonderful group of people”, Ms Krogh said.
“It’s is great to be in the industry at a time when there are more young people and women being excited about a career in the water sector.”
