Shoalhaven City Council is celebrating the launch of Corroboration, at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Saturday 13 October, 12 pm – 2 pm.
This show is an exhibition of 11 wall panels completed by the current students of the Aboriginal Cultural Arts Program at Nowra TAFE, facilitated by TAFE art educator and artist Warwick Keen. “The Gallery is planning on hosting this exhibit for a two-year period with the hopes it will continue as part of the TAFE NSW Nowra Aboriginal Cultural Arts Program.”
Five more new shows will be launched with Corroboration, including artists, Vicki Varvaressos curated by Max Dingle, Mary Preece, Barbara Dawson, Shena Hayden, Meagan Jacobs and Garry Shead- a great day to visit
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging all residents to come along and enjoy some amazing artwork on Saturday and over the exhibition periods
“Our Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra has a vibrant collection of contemporary and traditional works are reopening their doors this Saturday,” Clr Findley said.
“At the launch, the gallery will be unveiling Corroboration, a new courtyard gallery exhibition that is a partnership between with TAFE NSW, Nowra and Shoalhaven Regional Gallery, facilitated by artist and art educator, Warwick Keen."
The Shoalhaven Regional Gallery will host the opening event from12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, 13 October further opening hours and details available on their website shoalhavenregionalgallery.com.au
Corroboration will be accessible for viewing during opening hours in the Courtyard Gallery.
