Shoalhaven City Council, the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee and Verb Syndicate are collaborating for a free ‘Winter Lane Art Project’ Event on Thursday, July 12- from 11 am to 4 pm.
The community event will take place in the laneway near the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery known as the ThoroughFair.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging residents to beat the winter blues, bring the family along to this event and connect with their local community.
"This unique family-friendly event will have live entertainment to activate the Nowra CBD during Winter with art and culture, Cl Findley said.
"A Community Art Activation Project will be operating at the event for all ages to enjoy, hosted by Verb Syndicate of Wollongong Wonderwall fame.
"This unique experience has been made possible with the support of the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee and will include food venues in the laneway.
"The event is being held in the school holidays with free entertainment for the whole family, so come along and enjoy.”
