Dog Access Improvements at Mollymook Beach Reserve

At Shoalhaven City Council’s Ordinary Meeting on the 31 January 2017, Council responded to dog access community concerns at the Mollymook Beach Reserve and the need to allow on leash dog access of the pathway across the public reserve.

In response to the reviewing a  petition of 465 names, presented by Councillor White, Council endorsed an amendment to its Access Areas For Dogs Policy to allow access on the pathway within Mollymook Beach Reserve area from Blackwattle Creek to the Mollymook Beach Golf Club for dogs on leads only

Council staff in the upcoming days will update signage in this location to reflect this policy change.

To help facilitate this change, Council asks dog owners to ensure dogs on a lead can only walk the path.
