Nowra Library will be closed on Monday, 4th of May and reopen on Tuesday, 5th of May to allow for some exciting new enhancements.
As part of the library’s continuing refurbishment, new carpet will be laid which will cover the junior area and extend down to the back of the library. The existing carpet is dated and due for replacement, and the new covering will provide comfort and style for library users.
Another enhancement will be the installation of a new Multi-Function Printing Device that will streamline the printing process for customers.
The MFD will allow customers to print, scan and copy their own documents and then pay for them using an attached coin box.
It will also make printing possible for not only those using the library computers, but users of personal devices, like laptops, tablets or phones.
In order for the new carpet to be laid and the MFD installed with minimum disruption to the public, the library will need to be closed on Monday, 4th May.
Library Manager, Sarah Taylor apologises for any inconvenience and said she hopes customers will utilise other library branches or online services on this day.
“We look forward to re-opening on Tuesday, 5th of May, where our customers can enjoy the further refurbishments and make use of the new MFD.”
