Mayor welcomes lodgement of proposed Milton bulky goods development application

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor, Joanna Gash has welcomed the lodgement of a proposed bulky goods and factory unit complex in Milton.

The proposed $1.5 million development would see the construction of two separate industrial buildings on the corner of Croobyar Road and Wilfords Lane, Milton.

The buildings would consist of one bulky goods unit and nine factory units.

Mayor, Joanna Gash said the proposed development would inject vital funding into the local community.

“It is extremely pleasing to see the Shoalhaven continue to attract large development applications to the area,” said Clr Gash.

“The proposed $1.5 million Milton development will not only inject vital funds into the area during the construction phase but also provide further employment options once completed.

“This proposal comes on the back of a number of other larger applications lodged or under review by the Planning and Assessment Commission within the local area.

“These include the proposed $12 - $15 million Shoalhaven Motorsports Complex at Yerriyong, the $12 million Masters development at South Nowra and the $370 million Shaolin Temple Complex.”

The Mayor said these applications were further proof of a renewed confidence within the local business community.

The proposed $1.5 million proposed bulky goods and factory unit complex in Milton will be assessed by Council.
