Shoalhaven Water have begun major maintenance works at the Sussex Inlet Sewer Pumping Station, which are expected to take approximately three weeks to complete.
The works are being undertaken as part of Council’s ongoing maintenance and improvement program for the Sussex Inlet sewer system.
While the majority of works are expected to be carried out during normal working hours, some night work will be required.
Director of Water, Carmel Krogh said every effort would be made to minimise noise and disruptions during the works.
Ms Krogh said the works would not cause any interruptions to the area’s internal sewer services.
