Shoalhaven COVID Public Health Alert - 2 June 2021

NSW Health has been advised of further venues of concern associated with confirmed cases of COVID-19 who were in southern New South Wales between 19 and 24 May while potentially infectious.

The original timeframe has been expanded as three household contacts of the original case have now tested positive.

If you were at any of the venues at the times listed, please immediately call NSW Health on 1800 943 553, get tested and isolate until you receive further information from NSW Health.
  • Hyams Beach: Cooked Goose Cafe (formerly Hyams Beach Cafe) 76 Cyrus Street, Hyams Beach, NSW 2540. 10am to 12pm on Sunday 23 May 2021
  • Jervis Bay: Green Patch Camping Ground, Booderee National Park, Village Bay Road, Jervis Bay, JBT 2540. All day on Wednesday 19 May 2021 4pm to Monday 24 May 2021 9am.
  • Vincentia: Coles Vincentia Shopping Village, 29 The Wool Rd, Vincentia, NSW 2540. 12pm to 1pm Sunday 23 May 2021, 12pm to 1pm Saturday 22 May 2021, 12pm to 1pm Friday 21 May 2021
  • Huskisson: 5 Little Pigs, Shop 4-5 64-66 Owen St, Huskisson, NSW 2540. 8am to 11:30am Friday 21 May 2021
  • Huskisson: Huskisson Treasure Chest, 74 Owen St, Huskisson NSW 2540. 11:30am to 12pm Friday 21 May 2021
NSW Health is continuing to investigate the movements of these cases in southern New South Wales, and this list of venues may be updated.
 
NSW Health has already increased testing capacity on the South Coast with a new pop up drive-through in Huskisson, and extended hours at existing clinics.

Testing locations include:

  • Husky Sports Club pop-up drive-through clinic: Kioloa Street, Huskisson, 8am 6pm, seven days a week
  • Nowra Southern IML Pathology Drive-through clinic: 57 Junction Street, open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
  • Shoalhaven Hospital: entry via Shoalhaven Street driveway 2 Scenic Drive, open 8:30am-12:30pm and 1:15pm-4:30pm Monday - Sunday
  • Milton Ulladulla Hospital: 106 Princess Highway, enter via Main Hospital Entrance, open 8am-3:30pm Monday - Sunday
  • Gerringong 4Cyte Pathology Drive-through: Gerringong Medical and Cosmetic Centre, 139 Belinda Street, open 9am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Anyone who lives in Jervis Bay, Vincentia, Huskisson, Gundagai or Goulburn, or has visited these areas since 19 May, is asked to be especially vigilant for the onset of even the mildest of cold-like symptoms, and is urged to come forward for testing immediately if they appear, then isolate until a negative result is received.

Additionally, anyone who has recently had symptoms should also get tested.
