Statement Regarding Positive COVID-19 Case at Nowra Aquatic Park

Shoalhaven City Council has been made aware this week by NSW Health that a positive COVID-19 case attended the Shoalhaven Swim Sport Fitness Nowra Aquatic Park on Sunday 3 October 2021.  

Anyone who attended the Park between 1:21pm – 2:57pm on that day is deemed a casual contact and must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative test result.   

Council understands that all impacted attendees have been notified by NSW Health. This includes all relevant Council staff members, who have since been tested and received negative results.  

Nowra Aquatic Park has since undergone a deep clean and is reopen to the public.  

Council urges all members of the Shoalhaven region community to get tested for COVID-19 should they be experiencing any symptoms. For more information, refer to
