L'Etape Australia by Tour de France - Local Community Meeting

On Saturday 28 November 2020, the Shoalhaven City Council will host the 5^th edition of L’Étape Australia by Tour de France.

 L’Étape Australia is the only Tour de France event in Australia and the biggest one outside France. It provides amateur cyclists with the closest experience to riding in the Tour de France as they can get with fully closed roads, world-class mechanical assistance, medical assistance  event village.

 Six thousand riders are expected visit the region and take part in the event in 2020. It is a unique opportunity for the Shoalhaven and the broader region to showcase our hospitality and all of the services we have to offer locally and Nationally. The event will also be featured in a 28 minute documentary broadcast on SBS.

 Lateral Events, organisers of L’Étape Australia by Tour de France, are committed to engaging with the local community to share information about the event and present business opportunities available to local residents and businesses. They have created a L’Étape Australia Local Community Facebook group and a presentation will be given on Wednesday 22 July at 5:30pm.
