Have Your Say on the Future of the Shoalhaven

Shoalhaven City Council is inviting the community to have their say on the services, programs and projects Council has planned for the coming financial year.  

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking feedback on the Draft Delivery Program and Operational Plan and Budget – 2021/2022 which includes Council's proposed Fees and Charges. 

The draft Delivery Program outlines how Council is working towards achieving the community’s aspirations and long-term vision for our City.  

In the coming financial year Council has over 450 proposed projects to be delivered across the Shoalhaven.  

The following major projects are included in the draft Delivery Program for 2021/2022:   

  • Shoalhaven Community & Recreation Precinct (SCaRP) 
  • Sanctuary Point Library 
  • Nowra Riverfront Precinct 
  • Material Recovery Facility 
  • Far-North Collector Road 
  • Bay and Basin Skate Park 
  • Boongaree – Stages 2, 3 and 4 
  • Resource Recovery Facility 

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said, “The draft Plan outlines how Council is working towards achieving the community’s aspirations and long-term vision for our City”.  

“Council is committed to delivering valuable infrastructure and services which create a safe and attractive community for people to live, work, stay and play,” Clr Findley said. 

“Council is planning for our future City where sustainable growth, development and environmental protection are managed to provide a unique and relaxed lifestyle,” Clr Findley said. 

“This year Council has made it easier for the community to find proposed projects in their area with the inclusion of 85 highlighted proposed projects on its website using the My Area map search function”, Clr Findley said.  

Feedback will close at 5pm on Thursday 27 May 2021.
