Shoalhaven City Council has received positive feedback from the community following the recent use of Junction Court for a Christmas event.

Council is now seeking community feedback on possible improvements to Junction Court in Nowra to enhance the use of this space.

The Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee is preparing a grant application to attempt to secure funding from the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s ‘Your High Street’ grants program to help improve and revitalise this important public space.

The public is encouraged to provide early feedback by completing a short online survey.

As part of the online survey, Council is asking for community input on what is important to you about Junction Court and feedback on the possible upgrade of the area.

The feedback will be used to inform the grant application that will be submitted by the end January. The outcome of the application will not be known until later in 2021.

This grant application is being prepared with the assistance and support of the Nowra CBD Revitalisation Committee.

For more information on the Committee visit Council’s website.

The survey will close at 5.00pm on Thursday 21 January 2021.
