Shoalhaven City Council would like to remind the public to adhere to the NSW Public Health Order when attending Council meetings in person.

To comply with one person per four square metre rule for indoor settings and to ensure appropriate social distancing, many of the seats in Chambers will not be in use.  Places are therefore limited, and members of the community are encouraged to view the live streams of the meetings on Stream a Council Meeting.

If you plan to attend the meeting, please be advised masks are mandatory in all Council buildings and you must sign in with the designated NSW Health QR code on arrival.

Anyone who has been in or lives in the Greater Sydney region (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong areas) on or after June 21, and it has been less than 14 days since they were last in Greater Sydney, will not be permitted into the Chamber.

Council is reminding the public who attend in person to observe covid-safe practices:

  • If you have any of the following symptoms you must stay at home: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, or loss of smell or taste

  • You must Scan the QR Code on entry

  • You must wear a mask

  • Use of hand sanitiser upon entry is required

  • Social distancing (1.5m) will need to be adhered to in all interactions

  • Seating will be marked 1.5m from all others

  • Bring your own water and/or refreshments, as these will not be provided (Masks can be removed when eating and drinking.)

  • Do not shake hands, hug or kiss as a greeting

Council advises the community that the current arrangements will adjust in accordance with future amendments to NSW Health Orders.
