Shoalhaven City Council has COVID safety plans in place for its facilities including public venues and holiday parks.


Customer Service

Our Customer Service Centre is closed for face-to-face visitors. Customer service interactions are encouraged to be conducted online and over the phone. Call to speak with a helpful staff member or use the convenient web chat function on our website.


Waste Depots, Buy-Back Centres and Community Recycling Centres

Some of our Recycling and Waste Depots are open where possible. Check availability of your nearest Recycling and Waste Depot.

Buy-Back Centres are closed until further notice.

Green and Bulky Collection service is taking bookings.


Waste and Recycling (Kerbside) Collection

Holiday Haven Parks

All Holiday Haven Parks are closed to the general public. Please visit the Holiday Haven website for current restrictions.


Shoalhaven Animal Shelter

Closed for face to face visitors. Please be assured staff are looking after animal welfare and are available on the phone, if you have lost an animal please call (02) 4429 3410.


Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre

Closed. For more information visit the website. For information about scheduled productions, you can contact the Box Office (02 4429 5757) between 09:00 AM–05:00 PM Monday to Saturday and 10:00 AM–02:00 PM on Sundays.

You can also visit Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for daily updates on scheduled events.


Shoalhaven Swim Sport and Fitness Facilities

All facilities are closed, excluding outdoor sea pools, which will remain open. Please refer to our website for detailed information on changes to operations.


Shoalhaven Family Day Care

Open with restrictions in place, offices are closed to the public.


Shoalhaven Regional Gallery

Closed to the public and public art classes will be cancelled while restrictions are in place.


Shoalhaven Libraries

Closed. Please refer to our website for more information. Digital Library is accessible 24/7 from home, contact Shoalhaven Libraries for more information.


Bereavement Services

All Cemeteries and the Shoalhaven Bereavement Services office are open with restrictions in place Please visit the Shoalhaven Bereavement Services website for current restrictions.


Ulladulla Civic Centre

The Café is still operating with restrictions in place for takeaway only. The venue is closed to the public.

The Ulladulla Recovery Centre has transitioned to a telephone service, call Council’s dedicated recovery helpline on (02) 4429 5888.


Visitor Information Centre

Closed for face-to-face customer service, however available on the phone or email. Contact the team on (02) 4421 0778 or email Visitor information is also available online.


Community Centres

Closed for hire. This includes buildings at showgrounds, sporting facilities, meeting rooms, public halls, community centres and Schools of Art. All use must comply with current NSW State Government restrictions as identified by law.


Council Meetings

Council meetings will be closed to the public. Members of the public are encouraged to watch these meetings on our live stream.


Public Consultations

Face-to-face consultations and events are being postponed. Visit the relevant Get Involved project page for the latest information.


Building and Planning

Customers may speak to a Duty Planner or Building Officer between 09:00 AM–11:00 AM Monday to Friday via the phone or virtual meetings. Meetings are also available by phone appointment and email.


Health Inspections

Operations as normal, with social distancing in place.


Sporting Fields and Parks

Open for use. All use must comply with current NSW State Government restrictions as identified by law.

It is the responsibility of the user-group to ensure compliance with current restrictions.
