Shoalhaven City Council working with Government and the Community

The Shoalhaven Public Transport Guide implements a key Action of the Shoalhaven Integrated Transport Strategy. The Strategy was developed with a Regional Solutions Program Grant. The NSW Government and Shoalhaven City Council supported the development of the Shoalhaven Public Transport Guide and the Illawarra/Shoalhaven Transport Development Officer position.

The Illawarra/Shoalhaven Transport Development Officer produced the Shoalhaven Public Transport Guide, with Shoalhaven City Council’s Desktop Publishing and Information Technology personnel supplying key skills and resources. The support of Shoalhaven Bus and Coach and Taxi operators is gratefully acknowledged. The Nowra Community Solutions Project is also supporting these improvements.

This initiative was developed in consultation with the Shoalhaven Public Transport Working Party. The Shoalhaven Public Transport Working Party membership includes Councillors, representatives of the community, government agencies representatives and transport providers.
