In an area as large as the Shoalhaven, there are a multitude of places where you can revive the spirit quietly.

When travelling through the Shoalhaven take the opportunity to stop at one of our parks on Highway One. These parks offer the motorist chance to take a break from the road and to rest and freshen up.

Shoalhaven City Council encourages safe driving, take time out to let the kids stretch their legs or stop for lunch or enjoy the pleasant surroundings of one of our parks. Give the family a pleasant break.

Apex Park, Berry

Located on the northern entrance to Berry, Apex Park offers beautiful gardens and surrounds within easy walking distance to the town centre and is a popular destination for bus tours and day trippers. Picnic facilities and gazebo are available for families to enjoy the break from the road. Play equipment located on the western end of the reserve offers an area for the kids to have a pleasant break.


Mark Radium Park BerryMark Radium Park Berry

Situated on the southern entrance to town with views to the mountains. Mark Radium Park is a lovely park to stop and cook a BBQ or let the kids have run around or play on the swings.
 

Picnic facilities by the lake allow for revitalising the spirit as you enjoy a break from the road. Stop relax and revive at Mark Radium Park Berry

 

 

 


Harry Sawkins Park Nowra

When travelling through Nowra take to time to visit Harry Sawkins Park. The park is west of the highway just south of the Shoalhaven River and is adjacent to Shoalhaven City Council's administration centre. Within walking distance to the CBD and featuring play equipment and picnic facilities Harry Sawkins Park is a great place to stop and revive.


Marriott Park Nowra

Located adjacent to the highway in the centre of Nowra, Marriott Park is the perfect place to stop and relax. With gazebos BBQ facilities, play equipment and extensive gardens, Marriott Park offers the traveller all the amenities required to freshen up. Allow the time for the family to unwind and take in all this park has to offer.


South Nowra Rotary Park

Situated in central South Nowra on the intersection of Flinders Rd this park is the ideal place for the motor home and caravan to stop for a break on their way through town. The park is equipped with picnic facilities and amenities and is located close to the major take away food outlets on the south side of Nowra


Wandandian Park

At the top end of Milton on the western side of the Highway look for the giant Port Jackson Fig that features in this Park. Mick Ryan reserve has all the amenities including picnic facilities, BBQ’s, and play equipment. Stop and enjoy wonderful views over the escarpment to the west and let the kids play in this unique park.


Sussex Inlet Gateway Reserve

At the top end of Milton on the western side of the Highway look for the giant Port Jackson Fig that features in this Park. Mick Ryan reserve has all the amenities including picnic facilities, BBQ’s, and play equipment. Stop and enjoy wonderful views over the escarpment to the west and let the kids play in this unique park.

Rotary Park Ulladulla

Located on the northern shore of Ulladulla Harbour, Rotary Park features full amenities for the traveller to enjoy. Picnic facilities and BBQs capable of accommodating large gatherings are available at this park. With views of the ocean and a short walk to the Ulladulla CBD makes this an attractive park to stop and revive.


Ulladulla Milton Lions Park Burrill Lake

The first major park when entering the Shoalhaven from the south and located on the banks of Burrill Lake. This park features all the amenities a traveller needs. Picnic shelters capable of holding larger groups, formal pathways and challenging play equipment make this park ideal for revitalising your energy after time spent on the road.
