Privet and Woody Weed Workshops |

As part of the Shoalhaven Rural Privet Control Strategy, the Privet Control Team headed by Greg Thompson from the Parks and Reserves Unit have been currently running a series of half day workshops for landowners with woody weed problems such as Privet, demonstrating control strategies and techniques. The workshops consist of 2 hours of indoors training, explaining the techniques and strategy of woody weed control, and then 2 hours in the field on an adjoining site, demonstrating these techniques on the ground. The workshops have been a huge success with a positive turnout to all workshops and many participants enjoying the relaxed informative presentation followed by practical demonstrations in the field. |
