The combined effort of several people contributing at least 70 hours of labour has allowed for the bulk of the Privet to be removed from this property on Kangaroo Valleys main street. Input from the Sydney Catchment Authority allowed for replacement plants to be installed in the treated area. The owner was appreciative of the assistance offered with the insight that such an undertaking could not reasonably have been achieved by any individual. The challenge now is to maintain the gains made by continuing to suppress any regrowth, treating weed seedlings as they appear.
