Steve,
Belinda and Vicki take a break under the shade of a Large Leaved Privet
tree, on a warm February day. This tree and numerous others adjacent to an
old dairy in Berry was “Frilled and Painted” using the chainsaw. This
technique involves making numerous shallow incisions around the base of
the tree and inserting herbicide into the cambian layer. The trees are
left standing with results expected in approximately 2-3 weeks. This
containment strategy was used to prevent another generation of seed from
entering the environment.
