Shoalhaven Bushcare Program

Bushcare groups in the Shoalhaven are actively regenerating and restoring 932.1 hectares of public land reserved for conservation purposes. Of this area 230 hectares have been worked on by Bushcare groups during 2005/06.

To date Bushcare volunteers have contributed 24,289 people hours to on-the-ground restoration, rehabilitation and maintenance of our cities natural areas in public ownership. These hours involve a number of activities as shown in the table below:
